The cookies and similar technologies used on the mooremichel.com website.

Effective: 19 May 2026 · Last updated: 19 May 2026 · Version 2.0

This Policy explains the cookies and similar technologies used on the mooremichel.com website (the "Website"), the categories we organise them into, and the choices available to you. It should be read together with our Privacy Policy, which sets out how the firm handles personal information generally.

§1 — About This Cookie Policy

This Cookie Policy describes how Moore Law uses cookies and similar technologies on the Website. Where cookies contain or are linked to personal information, the processing is also governed by our Privacy Policy.

§2 — What Cookies Are

A cookie is a small text file that a website places on your device when you visit. For the purposes of this Policy, the term "cookie" also includes similar technologies — including web beacons, pixels, tags, local storage, and similar identifiers.

First-party cookies are set by the website you are visiting (in this case, mooremichel.com). Third-party cookies are set by other domains — for example, an analytics provider or an embedded video service.

Session cookies expire automatically when you close your browser. Persistent cookies remain on your device until they expire or are deleted.

§3 — Categories of Cookies

We organise cookies into the following categories:

Strictly Necessary — essential cookies that cannot be disabled without rendering the Website non-functional. These typically include cookies that record your consent choices, maintain session integrity, and provide basic security functions. No consent is required for strictly necessary cookies.

Functional — cookies that enable enhanced functionality such as language or layout preferences. Used only with your consent.

Analytics — cookies that allow us to measure and improve Website performance, such as understanding which pages are visited most often. Used only with your consent. Where analytics is enabled, data is aggregated where possible and is used solely for the firm's understanding of Website performance.

Personalisation — cookies that enable content personalisation. Used only with your consent.

Advertising — cookies for delivering relevant advertisements. The firm does not currently use advertising cookies. The Website does not deliver third-party advertising and does not participate in cross-context behavioural advertising networks.

Social and Embedded Media — cookies set by social-media platforms or embedded video providers. The firm does not currently embed third-party social-media widgets or video players on the Website.

§4 — Specific Cookies Used on This Website

The Website currently uses the following cookies:

The current active set of cookies is reflected in this Policy and is reviewed periodically. If the firm introduces additional cookies (for example, analytics for Website performance), this Policy will be updated and — where consent is required — fresh consent will be sought through the cookie preference centre.

§5 — Your Choices

Cookie preferences. Where the Website displays a cookie banner or preference centre, you can adjust your consent choices through that interface at any time.

Withdrawing consent. You may withdraw consent for non-essential cookies at any time through the cookie preference centre. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of any processing carried out before the withdrawal.

Validity period. Consent for non-essential cookies is valid for 180 days, after which you will be prompted to make a fresh choice. This is consistent with European data-protection guidance on consent freshness.

§6 — Browser-Level Controls

You can also manage cookies through your web browser. The principal browsers' documentation pages are:

Blocking or deleting cookies may affect Website functionality.

§7 — Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control Signals

We do not currently respond to Do Not Track ("DNT") signals because there is no consistent industry standard for their interpretation. You can express your specific preferences through the cookie preference centre.

Where Global Privacy Control ("GPC") signals are received, we treat them as a request to opt out of any selling or sharing of personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising, to the extent applicable. As noted in §3, the firm does not currently engage in such activities.

§8 — Cookies and Personal Data

Where cookies contain or are linked to personal information, the processing is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which sets out the lawful bases, retention periods, your rights, and the supervisory authorities to which complaints may be directed.

§9 — Updates to This Policy

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our use of cookies, our practices, or applicable law. Material changes will trigger additional notice and may require fresh consent through the cookie preference centre.
